Help with Anxiety
An anxiety disorder can be diagnosed as a chronically
recurring case of anxiety which has a serious impact on a
person’s life. Nearly one in ten people will suffer from
some type of anxiety disorder at some point in their lives.

Acute symptoms of anxiety are most often controlled by
drugs. The problem with this is that all benzodiazepines (a
class of psychoactive drugs considered as minor
tranquilizers with varying hypnotic, sedative, which are
brought on by slowing down the central nervous system.) may
induce dependency and usage should be carefully monitored by
a trained medical professional.
Cognitive-behaviour therapy (CBT) is a treatment often
recommended for the treatment of anxiety disorders. CBT will
if successful help in replacing negative thoughts for
positive ones and reinforce positive actions. A patient
suffering from anxiety or depression will often look upon
things negatively and in turn attract negativity into their
lives.
Recent research has shown
Omega-3 to be beneficial in the treatment of anxiety and
depression. In the last century Western diets have changed
radically consume far less seafood than ever
before.
In laboratory experiments, omega-3 fatty acids have a role
in brain function and studies of seafood consumption have
shown that eating fish regularly is associated with a lower
risk of depression. The working ingredient of fish oil is
Omega-3 which is a polyunsaturated fatty acid. New evidence
from various research studies has shown that the decline in
omega-3 fatty acids in our diets could be a large factor in
the massive increase in anxiety and depression cases.
