Just what is ADD or ADHD and how is it
treated?
ADD stands for Attention Deficit Disorder and ADHD
is Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder. It
has now become one of the most diagnosed conditions for
young people. Whether this is actually accurate or not
is at the present time a subject of debate as some people
say that it is easier for both doctors and parents to give
and accept this diagnosis. There is medication
available but it is strong and maybe it is only sedating the
problem and not actually curing it.
It could also possible be said that the parents have no
control over the child and that a structured discipline
program could have better results than the medication as
this may be a cure and not just a treatment for the symptom.
